  • Axis Football League

A browser-based American football simulation game where you control plays, manage your team, and handle both offense and defense. It mixes strategy with on-field action, letting you pass, run, and defend while trying to outplay the opponent.

    Game Description

Axis Football League feels more like a stripped-down console football game than a typical browser one. You’re not just tapping buttons — you actually call plays, read the defense, and react in real time. Passing takes some timing, and defense isn’t just chasing players blindly.

What makes Axis Football League fun is that it doesn’t hold your hand. If you make bad play calls, you’ll get punished. The AI can be surprisingly decent too, so easy wins aren’t guaranteed. It’s a bit rough around the edges visually, but once you get into it, that stops mattering. You’ll either enjoy the control it gives you or get frustrated trying to figure things out.

    How to Play

    • Start by selecting your team and match
    • Choose plays before each snap (offense or defense)
    • On offense:
      • Move your player
      • Pass or run depending on the play
    • On defense:
      • Control a defender
      • Try to stop passes or tackles
    • Score more points than the opponent before time runs out

    Controls

    • Arrow Keys / WASD – Move player
    • Space – Snap / Action
    • Mouse Click – Select plays
    • Other keys – Pass or switch players (depends on version)

    Tips

    • Don’t spam passes — interceptions happen more than you think
    • Learn a few solid plays instead of switching randomly every time
    • On defense, focus on positioning instead of chasing the ball blindly
