  • Cat Trap

A simple puzzle game where you try to trap a cat before it escapes the grid. Each move blocks a tile, forcing the cat to find another path. It’s turn-based, quick to understand, but gets tricky fast once the cat starts slipping through small gaps.

    Game Description

Cat Trap looks easy at first, but it turns into a real brain workout after a few rounds. The goal is straightforward: stop the cat from reaching the edge of the board. You click tiles to block its path, and after each move, the cat moves one step closer to freedom.

What makes Cat Trap interesting is how unpredictable the cat feels. One small mistake, and it finds a way out like it planned it all along. Sometimes you think you’ve cornered it… then it just slides through a gap you didn’t notice. It’s frustrating in a good way.

The game doesn’t rely on speed. It’s all about thinking ahead and cutting off escape routes early.

    How to Play

    • You start with a grid and a cat placed near the center
    • Click on tiles to block them
    • After each click, the cat moves one step
    • Your goal is to completely surround the cat
    • If the cat reaches the edge, you lose

    Controls

    • Mouse Click: Block a tile
    • That’s it — no extra controls

    Tips

    • Don’t chase the cat directly — block wider paths first
    • Focus on cutting off multiple escape routes, not just one
    • Early moves matter more than late ones, so don’t waste them randomly
